When you joined the practice:  May 1998

Education:  Bachelor’s degree in interdisciplinary studies from the University of Houston-Clear Lake. Earned CVPM (Certified Veterinary Practice Manager) in October 2011.

Pets:  A cat named Kitty (born without a tail)

Hobbies:  Spending time with my daughters, reading, singing, playing the piano, and planning my next Disneyworld trip or helping others plan theirs

Fun fact:  I love Disney!

Pets:  A Lab mix named Tabitha and six cats named Gutter, Lexi, Letty, Jasmine, Mia, and Simbatha

Hobbies:  Reading and “cat collecting”

Fun fact:  I have three children.

Pets: Cairn Terrier named Peanut, Jack Russell named Zero, and Chihuahua named Flynn

Hobbies: Yard work, Visiting nursing homes, Rescuing Animals

Pets:  A Chihuahua named Monchiki, a pit bull named Jigsaw, a Chihuahua mix named Master Splinter, and two cats named Tino and Highway

Hobbies:  Scrapbooking and taking pictures

Fun fact:  I love smelling dogs’ paws. They smell like corn chips. I also like doing nail trims, expressing anal glands, and cleaning dirty ears.

Unfulfilled dream:  I want to go school to be a nurse or an ultrasound tech. I also want to get married, have children, and own land for a lot of stray dogs and cats.

Hobbies: Drawing/painting, tennis, writing and reading

Pets: Snoopy (chihuahua/terrier mix) and Emi (pittie mix)

Hobbies: running, writing, reading, cooking

Fun fact: I self published a poetry book

Favorite Movie: I love watching horror moves and anime.

Unfulfilled dream: I’m working on finishing a romance novel and a supernatural novel.

Hobbies: Spending time with family, Cooking, Camping, Dance, Travel, Going to the beach

Unfulfilled Dream: Travel the world and learn from different cultures. Go to Thailand, visit the elephant sanctuary, and have a mud bath with them.

Pets: Pepita (Blue Heeler Mix), Charlie (Maltese Mix), TJ, Tito, Baby & Thickboi (DSH) 

Hobbies:  Gym-Goer, Collaging, Cafe hopping, concerts

Unfulfilled dream:

I want to work as a veterinary social worker!

• Integrates animals into interventions – animals are used to manipulate domestic abuse victims, many times they keep people from leaving.
• Grief Support and compassion fatigue
• Public education on animal care – connection between animal health = human happiness

When you joined the practice:  November 2014

Pets:  Two dogs named Scarlett and Whiskey, a guinea pig named Porkchop, and five cats named Elmo, Bigman, Mr. Paw, Eevee, and Fifi, and two big fish tanks

Hobbies:  Playing with my cats, playing video games, and fishing

Fun fact:  I love shooting bow. I also have a whole room dedicated to my love for dinosaurs.
